[Edit:] I've set up a Patreon, check it out and share your thoughts. image

Hey guys, don't get too excited, this is just an update. :o It's hard for me to ignore the good amount of traffic the new site gets...especially in recent days for some odd reason. So I felt a tad guilty and thought I'd post an update/progress report to try and kept your interests alive.

The writing is coming along just fine, just not as quickly as I would have hoped. I'm thinking once my newborn daughter adapts to a somewhat regular schedule then I can utilize time management and the cool down periods between for productivity. Right now she's, understandingly, still sporadic with her baby antics.

I've decided for the drawing portions I will have the whole chapter done prior to any uploads. And once pages do go live for a chapter I'll be releasing them once a day until the chapter concludes. This is to try and maximize exposure, interest, and return since there will be gaps between chapter completions.

How are you guys doing? Are you still hyped? Is my drawing a little to heavy with future allusions? Got any questions, comments, or concerns? Don't hesitate to post 'em here, I've never been one to shy away from reader engagement so let it all out.

I won't make a habit of doing "updates" posts but it seemed like enough time had passed and some some answers were overdue.

Till next time y'all!

Do you have an idea for what time of the year the new story will be released?

Parenthood is a new experience for me so I cant speak in absolutes yet. Based on my current experience and model, I'm shooting for the first chapter (38-40pages) going live in August. If I can get it out sooner, of course, I absolutely will.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to work on, even if it took forever do draw all the little things that pull it together.

And thank you! Yes, I have the sweetest baby girl in my life now. :D

I'm still super hyped for this! The illustration looks very nice too.

Hoping that all goes well for you! :)

Thank you, Pro! I have faith and confidence that it will all work out just fine. And I know you're on the side of keeping the original title but I'll be revealing the new title and logo pretty soon.

Emergency, emergency, there's a cat in the water! Everybody out!
I'm also stumped by the questions of what the heck Sophie is wearing, and who that lady is in the background chewing gum.

Good luck with parental adventures, and remember that you always have to keep at least a half an eye on the kid or else things can go amazingly wrong surprisingly quickly.

Nekoda is a strange cat, that's for sure! Sophie (being Sophie) is wearing a variant of a sukumizu with an ironic message plastered across the front of it. And the one back there with the gum on her phone is Alex, she's appeared a couple of times in the original comic.

As for my kid, she pretty much demands both eyes on her so long as she is awake...and most of when she's asleep. :o

While I am EAGERLY awaiting the return of RTFRB, I also want you to be able to do it with confidence.

The pic is AMAZING, btw!

Anyway, take your time, and we'll be here when you pick up. :)

I am, Prof, and I will. :) I'm really excited for this final form of RTFRB. Under one unified story and pacing it will be grand! :D

Thank you, I put quite a few hours into drawing it.

Check it out, a horseman acting as a piggyback.

I haven't done extensive anatomical and genetic testing to confirm this, but I think you may find that is a horsewoman of the apocalypse and not a horseman.

I love the perspective, poses and colors on this!

And congratulations on your little girl. Savor every minute and never apologize for it! :)
